Genetic Architecture

Think about SelfCounstructed Buildings,  Able to autorepair themselves made with vegetable or animal materials is not a dream, It’s the future.

Bio-Mimetical Materials could transform architectural spaces into living spaces and transform the Le Corbusier “Machine habiter” into “Corps Habiter”.

The Starting idea part of a new nivestigation  by Francesco Gatti has made for the new generation of materials for construction for Beckham Institute in Illinois University inspired by new Medical Technologies.

The idea is considered for the “Adaptation of the Building to the enviorment” by developing a natural and living epidermis created by DNAof different types of organisms and animals, not only working as a “roof” or “facade” of protection, but also reacting and change itself according to climate in differents seasons of the year.

No doubt proyects and investigations like this, will transform the way we see Architecture, their creators beyond designing inanimate structures, will in a future allow human, to create living beings will also represent the “Reture to nature”
